Hunting down the best resale luxury fashion used to be an IRL-only activity. That’s changing with the rise of digital designer consignment everywhere from the Rebags and Fashionphiles of the internet to pre-owned online boutiques like Farfetch’s.

Another site fashion obsessives know and love is now (finally) getting into the game—and there’s something extra in it for sellers. Net-a-Porter launched its resale service in the United States today after a U.K. trial earlier this year. Powered by Reflaunt, NAP will give shoppers pay-outs for designer apparel, handbags, shoes, and jewelry they want to resell. Receive resale earnings as a Net-a-Porter gift card, and you’ll earn an extra 10 percent to spend.

“More than ever, our customers are looking for fashion that is not only designed to last, but for ways in which it can go on to be re-loved,” Alison Loehnis, luxury and fashion president at Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, and The Outnet, said in a statement about Net-a-Porter’s embrace of resale. “We see re-commerce as a true enabler to tap into greater product longevity by extending the lives of pre-loved purchases.”

Here’s how Net-a-Porter’s new service works. Once you pull the items you’re ready to part with from your closet, Net-a-Porter’s partner Reflaunt will collect them from you free of charge. They’ll also handle listing, photographing, and authenticating your items before listing them for resale on partner marketplaces. If you’re saying goodbye to top-tier designer handbags, you’ll have the option to receive credit as soon as your item is accepted by Reflaunt (instead of waiting for it to meet its new owner).

If you’re not ready to resell, you can find new wardrobe heroes through Reflaunt’s Net-a-Porter listings. The company tells BAZAAR.com that ready-to-wear was the most popular resale category in the U.K., followed by bags and shoes. More ways to resell (and shop) are coming soon: In 2022, Net-a-Porter’s sister sites The Outnet and Mr. Porter will also add programs to their lineups.

As for what to buy new when your resale credit arrives? Send in old items fast, and you may catch some of the last deals from the site’s year-end sale where rare designer finds are up to 60 percent off. Wait a little longer, and you’ll have hundreds of new-in pieces like the ones below to choose from.

Either way, Net-a-Porter’s resale service helps you breathe new life into your closet and someone else’s. You can start listing your already-loved items through Net-a-Porter by visiting net-a-porter.reflaunt.com.
